Melisa Simic is the founder of Pauxi Group, a specialized firm dedicated to the strategic oversight of complex infrastructure and sustainability frameworks. Previously, Melisa served as the Global Head of Sustainability at Nuveen Infrastructure, where she led responsible investing and sustainability strategies across private infrastructure. In this role, she worked closely with investment teams to build capacity on material sustainability issues and developed proprietary frameworks, tools and products that set new benchmarks for the industry.
With a career spanning transactions across the Energy, Food & Agri, Metals & Mining, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Real Estate, and Infrastructure sectors, Melisa brings a rare "high-altitude" perspective to project resilience. Melisa's experience encompasses the full project lifecycle - from her early career in the design and construction management of major NYC underground infrastructure to leading due diligence on over $10B in annual transactions for global asset managers.
Melisa graduated with a B.S. and M.S. in Civil and Geotechnical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University.
