Marc Garner leads Schneider Electric’s Secure Power Division for Europe. In the current energy revolution and climate emergency context, Marc’s main goal is powering the path to a sustainable, digital future, by moving from ambition to action. He is focused on leading and developing a team of people from different backgrounds and cultures that, supports customers and partners across Europe in their digitization processes. He strongly believes in the convergence of digital and electric: while digital technologies improve energy efficiency, electrification speeds up decarbonization – leading to IT and data center sustainability, efficiency, agility and resiliency. Coming from a business and sales background, Marc has had several roles in different companies throughout his professional career before he started at Schneider Electric through a graduate program. Marc likes to transfer his sportsman, adventurous spirit into business: ambition and hard work have always defined his professional path, while also being competitive and results driven. He constantly engages his customers, partners and co-workers to address the energy challenge towards a net zero future. Dad to two girls, another focus is to support the continuous development of young talent in the sector, as well as further promoting diversity and inclusion into the data center market.
