Jim Tyler is an engineer, inventor and business leader who has played a key role in development of some of the world’s largest solar plants, including First Solar’s 550 MW Desert Sunlight Solar PV Power Plant. As VP of Engineering, Procurement and Construction at First Solar, he implemented new methods to achieve construction velocities not seen before in utility-scale construction. As CEO of solar provider, Erthos, he continues to innovate, with large scale direct-to-ground mount installations that deliver green energy at highly competitive rates.
