Ehsan Nasr has applied his PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo to ongoing research in power systems management for Smart Grid and the data center. With demonstrated skill in mathematical modeling, AI, and control systems design, he has led projects in distributed generation for the large grid and microgrids, and for the renewables/environment industry. Ehsan currently works for Microsoft as a Lead Scientist with the Datacenter Advance Development Team, devoted to developing and managing new energy technologies for the data center.
