Following the Earth Day release of Greener Data: Volume Three, the Greener Data movement is hitting the road for a year-long book tour designed to bring the conversation around sustainable digital infrastructure directly to the industry’s biggest stages.
With stops in National Harbor, Cannes, Las Vegas, Reston, Honolulu and New York, the Greener Data Book Tour will spotlight the ideas, people and innovation shaping a more sustainable digital future.
But this is more than a traditional book tour.
Each stop will bring the Greener Data mission to life in a different way, from author signings and complimentary book giveaways to industry meetups, exclusive interviews, featured panels, event activations and conversations with the leaders helping define what comes next for data centers, AI, connectivity and sustainability.
Bringing the Greener Data Conversation to the Industry
The digital infrastructure industry is at a critical moment. AI, cloud, connectivity and data center growth are accelerating at an unprecedented pace, while questions around power, sustainability, community impact and climate accountability are becoming more urgent.
That is exactly why Greener Data exists.
Across three volumes, the book series has brought together voices from across the global digital infrastructure ecosystem to explore how the industry can grow smarter, cleaner and more responsibly. Volume Three continues that mission with contributions from leaders, innovators and changemakers addressing some of the most important topics facing the sector today, including AI growth, next-generation leadership, sustainable infrastructure, community engagement and the future of climate-conscious data.
The book tour extends that conversation beyond the page.
First Stops: From ITW to Datacloud Global
The tour launched during International Telecoms Week in National Harbor, where the Greener Data community gathered for the annual Greener Data Exchange. Authors, contributors, industry leaders and sustainability advocates came together for an evening of connection, conversation and celebration, with several Greener Data authors in attendance signing copies of the book.
This week, the tour continues at Datacloud Global in Cannes, France, where Greener Data will be connected to the event’s Talent in Tech program.
The Talent in Tech community has a meaningful connection to Greener Data: Volume Three, with several members featured in the chapter on next-generation leadership. The program is sponsored by global data center expert Susanna Kass, a two-time Greener Data contributor whose work continues to advance conversations around sustainability, innovation and leadership in the data center industry.
In addition, JSA’s Barb Mitchell will be featured on a Talent in Tech panel, and several Greener Data contributors connected to the program participated in exclusive interviews with JSA TV.
It is a fitting stop for the book tour: a global stage, a focus on future leadership and an opportunity to spotlight the voices shaping the next era of digital infrastructure.
What to Expect Along the Way
As the Greener Data Book Tour continues throughout the year, each city will feature its own unique activation. Some stops will include author signings and book giveaways. Others will bring together contributors for interviews, networking moments, special event tie-ins or creative ways to keep the sustainability conversation moving.
The cities may change, and the activations may look different from stop to stop, but the mission remains the same: to elevate the ideas and people powering a greener digital future.
Tour stops include:
- National Harbor, Maryland
- Cannes, France
- Las Vegas, Nevada
- Reston, Virginia
- Honolulu, Hawaii
- New York, New York
Powering Change, City by City
The Greener Data Book Tour is a celebration of what makes this movement so powerful: collaboration.
No single company, technology or leader can solve the sustainability challenges facing digital infrastructure alone. But by bringing more voices into the conversation, sharing practical ideas and creating space for meaningful dialogue, the industry can continue moving toward a smarter, more sustainable future.
From conference stages to book signings, from JSA TV interviews to informal conversations over greener martinis, the tour is designed to keep that momentum going.
Six cities. One vision.
The Greener Data movement is on the road — and we are just getting started.
