John Day is Chief Commercial Officer of CleanArc Data Centers, leading sales, leasing and marketing activities for the company. John is a data center executive with a track record of driving sales and business development for emerging and established data center owners. Throughout his nearly three-decade career, which has spanned technology sales, M&A, capital formation, and real estate, John has specialized in growing businesses and identifying and solving the needs of his customers.
Prior to joining CleanArc, John held sales and business development roles at QTS Data Centers and Sabey Data Center Properties. He has sourced or managed colocation, build-to-suit, and powered shell transactions with leading enterprises, including hyperscale AI and cloud providers, financial services firms, content and gaming companies, and government contractors. John’s career in data centers stretches back to Exodus Communications, one of the first large-scale data center colocation companies, and ABB, where he led the launch of the company’s DCIM offering. Earlier in his career, John served as a technology, media and telecom investment banker.
John holds a BA in English Literature and Political Science from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
