In the last eight years my research has focused on a range of thermal management and energy flow projects within the Data Centre, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning and industrial sectors. Since early 2013 1 have been involved in liquid cooled IT research projects, focusing both at the data centre and the microprocessor scales, which has been further transformed by the opportunities of integrated digital infrastructure research at RISE. My current research focuses on thermal and energy management of microelectronic systems, which has led to my many invited talks around the globe within the data centre community. - [Maxie Reynolds](https://greenerdata.net/gd-authors/maxie-reynolds/): Maxie Reynolds started her career in oil and gas as an underwater robotics pilot and subsea engineer working in Norway, Venezuela, Australia, Italy, Russia, Nigeria and the US. Starosielski is author or co-editor of over thirty articles and five books on media, infrastructure, and environments, including: The Undersea Network (2015). Starosielski's most recent project, Sustainable Subsea Networks, is working to enhance the sustainability of subsea cable infrastructures. The project has developed a catalog of best practices for sustainability in the subsea cable and a carbon footprint of a subsea cable. Starosielski is also a co-convenor of the SubOptic Association’s Global Citizen Working Group and the developer of the Certificate in Global Digital Infrastructure.
